Preventative Treatments
At Bacchus Marsh Dental Care we give high importance to preventative dentistry. We offer regular scale and clean and fissure sealants, tooth mousse and fluoride applications.
We emphasise oral hygiene by providing care instructions and prevention.
Cosmetic Dentistry
In house bleaching and take home bleaching services are provided at a very reasonable rate for eligible clients . Veneers and buildups of teeth are also provided at affordable prices.
Children’s Dentistry
The dentist at Bacchus Marsh Dental Care takes pride in children’s dentistry. We offer a very child friendly environment and provide a gentle compassionate approach.
We offer regular checkup and cleans, fissure sealants, fillings and ortho extractions.
Teeth Whitening
We provide both in-office whitening and take home whitening with a range of Pola whitening kits.
Crown and Bridge Work
Single crown and multiple crowns with bridges are offered.
Dentures
Partial and full dentures are offered with ranging from acrylic/plastic to metal or Cr-Co partials.
Medicare
At Bacchus Marsh Dental Care we bulk bill all CDBS eligible patients.
About the Child Dental Benefits Schedule
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) provides basic dental services to children. Dental services are capped at $1,000 over 2 consecutive calendar years.
Dental services include:
- examinations
- x-rays
- cleaning
- fissure sealing
- fillings
- root canals
- extractions
- partial dentures
The CDBS does not cover orthodontic, cosmetic dental work, or dental services provided in hospital.
There are some restrictions for dental services. These are listed in the Guide to the Child Dental Benefits Schedule on the Department of Health’s website.
Patient eligibility for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule
To be eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, patient must:
- be aged 2 to 17 years for at least 1 day of the calendar year
- be eligible for Medicare
- receive, or be part of a family receiving, certain Australian Government payments
